Three in hospital after air ambulance lands at scene of Doncaster road smash

Three people were taken to hospital following a serious three car collision in Doncaster, with the air ambulance landing at the scene.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Sandtoft on Saturday morning, with roads near to The Reindeer Inn cordoned off following the smash.

A spokesman for Humberside Police said: “Officers were called to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Idle Bank in Epworth at around 8.45am on Saturday 15 June.

“It is believed a grey Peugeot, green Mitsubishi, and a black Hyundai were in collision, and three people were injured as a result.

"They were all taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.”
