Firefighters were called to two vehicle fires and a blaze at a commercial premises in Doncaster over the weekend.

On Saturday Thorne firefighters were called out to a vehicle fire at 3pm on the M18 slip road.

The cause of the fire is not known. Crews left the scene at 3.35pm.

Last night a car was deliberately set on fire at 11.35pm on Middleham Road, Cantley. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended and left at 12.30am.

Three fire crews from Adwick, Doncaster and Edlington stations attended a fire at a commercial premise at 12.20am on Amersall Road, Scawthorpe. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 2.40am.
